“ Despite all the 1 or 2 star-ratings I've seen on Yelp for Blush, I still give it 5 stars. I understand why people think the way they do--Blush definitely has become more ghetto than it used to be. But my girlfriend and I have been going to Blush for more than a year now (back when it was chill and more laid-back) and it served as a sanctuary for us. It was close by, always had decent parking, good music (if you enjoy dancing and hip hop) and had the coolest bartenders and the best drinks. For me, all of that comprised of why I love Blush so much. We'd go to Blush because we knew that even if it'd just be the two of us, we'd always have a good time. Sure, we'd get hit on by guys we wouldn't even dream of dancing with, but hey, free drinks ARE free drinks! We used to go almost twice every month and we've come to know the people there already. It also doesn't hurt that the bartender is so hot and always flirts with me! Whenever I go back to Blush after not showing up for a couple of weeks he'll go, "Where have you been? Are you cheating on me and going to different bars?" then he'll proceed to mix me my favorite drink. But still, different people have different opinions. I suggest you try it out and see for yourself. If you have an open mind, who knows, maybe you'll have a good time like I do! *If there are spelling/grammatical errors, please excuse me for I might still be a bit intoxicated.. :) ”
